Meeting Minutes

Issues to Cover:

 

  1. Tournament Pairings and Blast-off order for the Center Hill Lake Tourn. out of the Ragland Bottom ramp. (Saturday, December 13, 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) We will meet at the ramp parking lot at 6:30 a.m. All 2009 club dues need to be paid by this tournament date.

 

  1. The club’s web site has been sponsored for the 2009 season by Don Yancy & Son’s Nursery. We appreciate and would like to thank Bill for all of his support and financial assistance. A link to their nursery webpage will be on our club website.      

 

  1. Discussion of November’s winning lures and patterns. Fort Loudoun/ Tellico Lakes, Weather; 40-50*, cloudy with light breeze, A.M., water 810.50, 57-58*, clear at the dam to tinted up the lake, 40’s* partly sunny, with 10-20 winds by 9 A.M., Boat #12; 1st & 13th, fishing boat docks with a spinner bait, 200 and 300 Bandit crank bait, Boat #9; 2nd & 13th, shallow water, <5’, on a Strike King series 1 crank bait and Red Eyed Shad, sexy shad colored, Boat #4; 3rd & 13th, shallow also on spinner bait and 100 Bandit crank bait, big fish (LMB) was caught by boat #9 on a Strike King series 1 crank bait.                                                . 

 

 

Announcements:

 

  1. 19 members attended the December meeting. We had 25 people fish the Fort Loudoun Lake Tournament, 4 guests attended.

 

  1. Fort Loudoun/Tellico Lake Results: 1st Tim Matheney; 6.46 lbs., 2nd Dewayne Dotson; 5.22 lbs., 3rd Kenneth Young; 3.77 lbs., & Big Fish caught by Dewayne Dotson; 5.22 lbs. L.M.B. We caught 16 fish with a total weight of 34.68 lbs.

 

  1. The 2009 TBF Western Divisional State Tournament will be held on Kentucky Lake, New Johnsonville Ramp, October 1-3rd.

 

  1. The 2009 TBF Eastern Divisional State Tournament will be held on Watts Bar Lake, Rockwood, TN, October 15-17th out of the Rockwood Park Ramp. This is in Roane County. More information will be forth coming.

 

  1. The 2009 TBF State meeting will be held November 7th at a time and location TBD.

 

  1. Army Corp of Engineers; Center Hill Dam Seepage Reduction Website, please refer to the following for recent developments and updates. http://www.lrn.usace.army.mil/CenterHill/ We will post a link on our club site. A chart of ramp elevations was passed around at the meeting also.
