Meeting Minutes

Issues to Cover:

 

  1. Tournament Pairings and Blast-off order for the Center Hill Lake Tourn. out of the Ragland Bottom Ramp. (Saturday, July 26, 6:00 p.m. - midnight) We will meet at the lake at 5:30 p.m.

 

  1. Discussion of June’s winning lures and patterns. Dale Hollow, 82-84*, clear water, Elev. 651.50’, Weather, 80* sunny/light wind, cooled to 60’s* by midnight, Boat #5; 1st & 2nd, lizard, tube & worm, in 10-20’, Boat #11; 3rd & 15th,hair jig/pork & worm, Boat #10; 4th & 5th, Center Hill worm, big fish was caught by boat #5 on a dark colored lizard in 20 feet of water. Most fish caught in or around grass.                   .

 

Announcements:

 

  1. 18 members attended the June meeting. We had 28 people fish the Dale Hollow Lake Tournament, 7 guests attended.

 

  1. Dale Hollow Lake Results: 1st Randy Loftis; 11.38 lbs., 2nd David Harris; 9.98 lbs., 3rd Lynn Walker; 9.15 lbs., & Big Fish caught by David Harris; 4.53 lbs. L.M.B. We caught 36 fish with a total weight of 72.06 lbs.

 

  1. Bill Yancy donated a new megaphone to the club for tournament starts.

 

  1. We are working with Laura Canada and the Cookeville Chamber of Commerce. We are discussing the possibility of their sponsorship of the 2009 Eastern Divisional State Tournament on Center Hill Lake. The status of these discussions is unknown at this time.

 

  1. The 2008 TBF Western Divisional State Tournament will be held on Pickwick Lake, Pickwick Landing State Park, September 25-27th.

 

  1. The 2008 TBF Eastern Divisional State Tournament will be held on Chickamauga Lake, Dayton, TN, Dayton Boat Dock ramp, October 9-11th.

 

  1. The 2008 TBF State meeting will be held November 1st at the Guest House Inn located at 2420 Music Valley Drive, Nashville, TN, time TBD.
