Sparta Bass Club

Meeting Minutes

July 16, 2009

Issues to Cover:

  1. Tournament Pairings and Blast-off order for the Caney Fork River Tourn. out of the Cotton’s Marina ramp. (Saturday, July 25, 5:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.) We will meet at the Cotton’s Marina ramp at 4:30 p.m. We decided that fish would be put into bags of water for the weigh-in once the Tournament director called for fish. We once again talked about how important it is to take good care of the fish that we catch, from the time we catch them until we release them back into the water after the weigh-in. Especially when the air and water temperatures rise above (75*, air) and (70*, water).

  1. We voted to change the ramp location on the August tournament on Cordell Hull lake. Because we are unable to put in and use the Granville Marina area, we changed to the Roaring River Recreation Area ramp. The tournament is still on August 22nd from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
