patterns. Guntersville Lake, Weather; 71*, fog/mist & calm at 7 a.m., 86*,
a few clouds & light breeze of 3 mph SW at 11 a.m., 94*, partly cloudy
& winds 7-10 mph. W at 3 p.m., water 594.36 to 594.47 w/ main channel
current & backing up into the creeks, 80.0-85.0* and clear to tinted, Boat
# 3; 1st & 14th , strike king quad shad spinner
bait, gold blades & white/chart/blue skirt & chartreuse pearl super
fluke in 3’-5’ of water & boat in 20 feet , Boat # 8, 2nd &
6th , chatter baits in scattered grass in 5-10’ of water, Boat
# 6 3rd & 4th , texas rigged zoom old monster
worms in watermelon & green pumpkin on a main river hump/shell beds
fishing the grass edge in 5‘-10’ of water, big fish 4.97 lbs. (LMB) was
caught by boat # 3 on a quad shad spinner bait on the main channel in 3’
of water off of a grass point.
- Alabama fishing licenses can be purchased online
at www.outdoorsalabama.com The
annual license is $46.00 each with a 2% fee added of 0.92. The seven-day
trip license is $26.00 each with a 2% fee added of 0.52. You can also call
for a license at 1-888-848-6887, but the fee for this is $3.95 each call.

- 16 members attended the September meeting; we
had 18 people fish the Guntersville Lake Tournament, 4 guests attended
- Guntersville Lake Results: 1st

- The 2010 CATCH/Edgar
Evans/Corp. of Engineers Kid’s Tournament was held on Center Hill
Lake, September 25th out of the Ragland Bottom Area Ramp. We would
like to thank the following members for their participation as boaters / guides
that day. Ricky E., Jeff S., Larry S., Dewayne D., Lee Currier, Joe S.,
Robert U., Eddy S., Tim B. and Lisa & Kessler Y.
- The 2010 TBF Eastern
Divisional State Tournament was held on Center Hill Lake, September
30 - October 2nd out of the Ragland Bottom Area Ramp. We would like
to thank the following for all their hard work and support in making this
tournament a great success; Dewayne Dotson, Phyllis Dotson, Tamara &
Ricky England, Tim & Sam Morrison, Diana & Joe Shappard, Trisha
&Kenneth Young, Beth & Tommy Mittlesteadt, Randy Young, Lee
Currier, Tim Dyer, Jeff Stafford, Larry Smith, David Harris, Kenneth Yoder,
Chase H, Ken Daniels, Charlie Hawkins, Mitch Farley, Mike Hurst, Scott
Griner, Eddy Stewart, Jason Risley, Ken Head, Charles Mitchell, Alfred
Ballinger and Lisa & Kessler Yoder. And we would like to give a
special thanks to Laura Canada and the Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of
Commerce staff for making it possible to have the Eastern Divisional State
Tournament in our area.
- The 2010 TBF Western
Divisional State Tournament will be held on Old Hickory Lake,
October 21-23rd out of the Saunders Ferry Park Ramp.
- The 2010 TBF State meeting will be held Saturday
November 6th, 2010 in Cookeville, TN at the Clarion Hotel on
South Jefferson from 9 a.m. to ~1 p.m.
