- The
club’s web site has not been sponsored for the 2011 season yet. We would
appreciate financial assistance from any organization or group to maintain
our web page and/or support our tournament teams. S & R Marine has pledged
$100.00 for 2011 so far. Several other businesses are being solicited for
support. The new web page will be launched in the next few weeks and all
club sponsors will have links posted to their web sites if available.
- We
discussed the date of the February and April tournaments on Cordell Hull &
Dale Hollow and the overlap of the State Federation spring meeting &
FLW Tour event on Chickamauga Lake & TBF National on Nickajack Lake.
Several members will be required to attend and/or work these events. We
voted on the change of those dates to February 19th with the
meeting moved to the 10th and April 30th, with the
meeting moved to the 21st. We also talked about and voted on a
new Vice-President/Tournament Director for 2011 Lee Currier and Jeff
Stafford both showed an interest in taking on the responsibility. The club
voted in Jeff Stafford to the position. I thank both individuals for their
willingness to volunteer for an officer’s position with the club and work
with & support the club’s membership & activities.
