Meeting Minutes

Issues to Cover:

 

  1. Tournament Pairings and Blast-off order for the Chickamauga Lake Tourn. out of the Dayton Boat Dock ramp. (Saturday, October 8, 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) We will leave from the Sparta Wal-Mart parking lot at 4:30 a.m.

  1. Discussion of September’s winning lures and patterns. Cordell Hull Lake, Weather; 58* mist/fog & calm 6 a.m., 76*, fair and winds W at 6 mph. at 10 a.m., 80*, mostly clear and winds variable at mph. at 2 p.m., water 503.67-.80, 62* on main channel & clear to tinted and 68* & colored in the creeks, Boat # 9; 1st & 17th , spinner baits fishing shallow points, Boat # 14, 2nd , 1/8 oz black buzz bait in shallow water, Boat # 13, 3rd & 8th , LC 2.5 crank bait chartreuse/black back & a medium sized spitin image bait in <4’ of water, and big fish 2.51 lbs. (LMB) was caught by boat # 9 on a spinner bait in 1-4’ of water.

 

Announcements:

 

  1. 19 members attended the September meeting; we had 28 people fish the Cordell Hull Lake Tournament, with 7 being guests.

 

  1. Cordell Hull Lake Results: 1st Tim Matheney; 2/2, 3.85 lbs., 2nd Mike Hurst; 2/2, 3.77 lbs., 3rd Brandon Sims; 2/2, 3.45 lbs. & Big Fish caught by Tim Matheney; 2.51 lbs. L.M.B. We caught 37 fish with a total weight of 50.05 lbs.

 

  1. The 2011 CATCH Youth Event was held on Center Hill Lake out of Ragland Bottom Recreation Area on September 17, 2011. Contact Tim Brown, Ricky & Tamara England, Brandon Sims, Jeff & Sherrie Stafford, Robert Underwood, and Kessler & Lisa Yoder participated in this event, 25 points will be awarded.

 

  1. The 2011 TBF Western Divisional State Tournament will be held on Kentucky Lake out of Paris Landing State Park on September 29-October 1, 2011. Ricky England and Dewayne Dotson will be running/working this tournament.

 

  1. The 2011 TBF Eastern Divisional State Tournament, will be held on Chickamauga Lake out of the Dayton Boat Dock on October 13-15, 2011. I will reserve 6 rooms for the 13th & 14th at the Holiday Inn Express in Dayton, TN as
    a backup to any arrangements that everyone may find before the tournament.

 

  1. The 2011 TBF Fall State meeting will be held Saturday November 5th, 2011 at a location TBD.
