Meeting Minutes

Issues to Cover:

 

  1. Tournament Pairings and Blast-off order for the Cordell Hull Lake Tourn. out of the Roaring River Day Use ramp. (Saturday, September 10, 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.) We will meet at day use ramp parking lot at 5:30 a.m. The club membership voted to change the time from 7 am./ 3 pm. to 6 am./ 2 pm.

  1. Discussion of August’s winning lures and patterns. Dale Hollow Lake, Weather; 77* mostly clear & calm 6 p.m., 73*, partly cloudy and calm. at 10 p.m., 72*, mostly clear and calm at 2 a.m., water 650.82, 86.0-89.0* & clear to tinted, Boat # 12; 1st & 13th , texas rigged 12” worm & 6” lizard in a grass bed in 20’ of water, Boat # 2, 2nd & 3rd , texas rigged 10” worm in a grass bed in 20’ of water, Boat # 10, 4th & 10th , texas rigged 7.5” worm & spinner bait in 10-20’ of water, and big fish 3.37 lbs. (LMB) was caught by boat # 12 on a texas rigged 12” worm in a grass bed in 20’ of water.

 

Announcements:

 

  1. 18 members attended the August meeting; we had 31 people fish the Dale Hollow Lake Tournament, with 8 being guests.

 

  1. Dale Hollow Lake Results: 1st Buryl Shirley; 5/5, 13.04 lbs., 2nd David Harris; 5/3, 8.17 lbs., 3rd Randy Loftis; 5/3, 6.93 lbs. & Big Fish caught by Buryl Shirley; 3.37 lbs. L.M.B. We caught 33 fish with a total weight of 66.96 lbs.

 

  1. The 2011 CATCH Youth Event will be held on Center Hill Lake out of Ragland Bottom Recreation Area on September 17, 2011. Contact Gary Bruce or Teresa Perry at 931-858-3125.

 

  1. The 2011 TBF Western Divisional State Tournament will be held on Kentucky Lake out of Paris Landing State Park on September 29-October 1, 2011.

 

  1. The 2011 TBF Eastern Divisional State Tournament, will be held on Chickamauga Lake out of the Dayton Boat Dock on October 13-15, 2011. I will reserve 6 rooms for the 13th & 14th at the Holiday Inn Express in Dayton, TN as
    a backup to any arrangements that everyone may find before the tournament.

 

  1. The 2011 TBF Fall State meeting will be held Saturday November 5th, 2011 at a location TBD.
